What makes you the best choice for this office?

I am the only non-partisan, independent candidate in this race, leaving me free to represent all of the people of the district.

If elected, what would your top issue be?

I will seek to reduce the scope and influence of state-level government to return decision making closer to the homes those decisions impact.

If elected, what would you want to accomplish in order for you to consider the term a success?

To re-establish true representative government that serves as a voice of the people, and not the party dominated political interests of Team Red or Team Blue.

Your view on TABOR reform efforts?

Passage of TABOR was a clear signal from the voters that they wanted a direct voice in taxation. Any effort to legislatively undermine TABOR runs counter to that signal and does not have my support.

The Red Flag law went into effect this year. Has it been a good law, and would you change anything?

The spirit of the Red Flag law is noble, however the implementation is flawed in that it heavily favors the accuser and does not recognize the rights of the accused to present their side. A fairer, more balanced law that allows both parties to be fully heard is necessary.
