The Jefferson County Public Library system has announced the restart to walk-in library service.
The county public health department has given guidance to the libraries, leading the system to once again offer services at sleect locations: Arvada Belmar, Columbine, Edgewater, Evergreen, Golden, Lakewood and Standley Lake libraries.
All visitors are required to wear a mask and maintain six feet of physical distance, as well as adhering to all safety signage and staff requests.
Library building capacity is limited to 25% of regular capacity. This means there may be wait times to enter libraries. Walk-in visits are limited to one hour or less. All visitors will be given a colored sticker upon entry, to help staff track visit duration.
Computers are reservable at the Arvada, Belmar, Columbine, Lakewood and Standley Lake libraries.
Study rooms and working spaces remain unavailable.
Curbside pickup service is still available, check out jeffcolibrary.org for more information or to sign up for curbside service.
