Sandwiched between waves of spring snow, the boys soccer teams of the front range squeezed in all the games they could last week.

For 4A Jeffco League teams, Evergreen and Alameda currently stand on top after one week of play. Evergreen, for winning its first league match against D’Evelyn and also for its 6-2 shelacking of Pomona. Alameda earned three wins last week, beating Littleton, Arvada and Green Mountain.

In 5A action, it is Bear Creek with the strong early showing, having downed Chatfield (2-0) and Dakota Ridge (8-2).
