Denver metro area schools will largely be closed on Monday, Oct. 26, due to the low temperatures and snow accumulation caused by the recent storm.
Denver Public Schools
Denver Public Schools will be 100% remote, today. All DPS schools and offices will be closed. All Early Childhood Education classes are canceled. There will also be no curbside meal pickup, bus meal delivery or Discovery Link before and after school care.
DPS charter school families are asked to check with their school on the status for Monday’s classes. The district's full weather notice is available here.
Jeffco Public Schools
Jeffco Public Schools has declared Oct. 26 a snow day, with all buildings closed and all classes canceled. There will be no remote learning. All before and after-school programs, and district-provided transportation services are also canceled.
Douglas County Public School District
The Douglas County School District (DCSD) is closed Oct. 26 due to weather and road conditions. All DCSD schools (including eLearning) and buildings are closed, and any scheduled activities are canceled. Before and after school care is canceled, as is all preschool and facility rentals.
"If your child attends a DCSD charter school, please check in with your child’s school for their status. Safety is a top priority," states the district release.
Littleton Public Schools

Cherry Creek School District
A snow day has been called for this district. Classes and school activities are canceled. Before and after school daycare programs are closed. There will be no meal distribution or remote learning.
Online K-5 and Elevation are also closed,
Adams 12 Five-Star
Adams 12 Five Star Schools are on a 2-hour delay for in-person learners.
All preschool classes are canceled for the day.
All elementary in-person classes will be on a 2-hour delay, meaning the school day will start two hours later, but end at the regular time. Morning bus pick-up will be two hours after the normal pick-up; afternoon bus drop-off times will be at the usual time.
For remote learners at all grade levels, there will be no change. This includes all previous hybrid students at the middle and high school levels who are now full-time remote.
The district release says FutureForward at Bollman and Washington Square In-person Learners will have their in-person classes canceled, and will instead participate in asynchronous (on-demand) learning.
Westminster Public Schools
Oct. 26 and 27 were already marked on the district calendar as non-student contact days.
