Lot Que is located at 13730 W 85th Dr Unit 103 in Arvada and is open from Tuesdays to Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Fridays from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Lot Que is closed on Mondays.

Residents of Candelas and northwest Arvada hankering for ribs, brisket or pulled pork are in luck this summer, as a new barbeque restaurant has opened up in Five Parks. Lot Que — adjacent to and owned by the purveyors of Lot One — held its soft opening on June 22 and a grand opening on June 29.
Lot Que offers dine-in and catering options for customers and allows patrons at Lot One the option to order from the barbecue side’s menu while dining in at the original establishment.
Josh Timon, one of Lot Que and Lot One’s co-owners and co-founders along with Jamie Miles, said that part of his motivation for venturing into barbeque was the simple, bare-bones nature of the food.
“We’ll never be Texas,” said Timon, “what we do from a uniqueness perspective is our sides, having all these sauces. It’s kind of a melting pot of barbeque in Colorado. The goal was just to really get back to basics, let the meats speak for themselves.
“I think our sides,” Timon continued, “are the classic barbeque sides turned on its ear. We’ve got a sweet potato cornbread, we’ve got a coleslaw that’s got some Latin American flavors to it, our potato salad has a balsamic hint. So, all the classic sides, just with a little bit of a twist, just like we do at Lot One.”
Lot Que’s menu features traditional barbeque fare like ribs, brisket, pastrami and turkey as well as sides including potato salad, baked beans, sweet potato cornbread and fried okra. As a dessert option, the restaurant serves High Point Creamery ice cream, the first in-restaurant retail location for the creamery.
The restaurant has an Old Hickory brand indoor smoker, which Timon says came highly recommended by other members of the Denver barbeque community. Lot Que’s meats are loaded into the smoker the night before they’re served and spend between 12 and 14 hours in the smoker, according to Timon.
Lorin Rice, the general manager of both Lot One and Lot Que, said that the reception from the community has been overwhelmingly positive thus far, with the barbecue side doing over $4,000 dollars in sales on July 3 — the restaurant’s fifth day of operation — and fulfilled a 70-pound pulled pork catering order on their first day.
Timon said that he has felt compelled to bring a much-needed social gathering place to the area around Five Parks; western Arvada, Candelas, Leyden and Westwood Creek, namely, while adding that he feels that community support should be reciprocal when it comes to restaurants and patrons.
“We’ve always been huge supporters of elementary schools, PTA’s, booster clubs, high schools, sports teams,” said Timon. “I feel that if you don’t support them, they won’t support you. The people around here, they want options, they want a place where they can go on a date night, they want a place where they can take their family, they want a place where they can have a girl’s night.
“We do a pretty great job with all of those,” Timon continued. “We’ve got a great patio with live music on Mondays and Tuesdays. We’ve giving people what I think they want.”
