Two elderly victims are hospitalized after being run over by their stolen vehicle.

Lakewood police are continuing to search for a suspect in an Oct. 12 carjacking that seriously injured two elderly women. The carjacking, which occurred in the 400 block of Benton Street, left two female victims, ages 88 and 76, with serious injuries.

According to witnesses, both victims were hit by the car as the suspect fled the scene. The suspect, described as an 18-20 year-old Hispanic male, approximately 6’2”, was wearing a hat and a red cloth mask at the time of the incident, and is considered by Lakewood Police to be armed and dangerous.

Police are asking citizens to be on the lookout for the vehicle, a white 2000 Lincoln sedan with a Colorado Honorably Discharged Veteran license plate number 274-CBF. Anyone who spots the vehicle is asked to call 911 immediately.
