The holiday season feels like it is truly beginning in Lakewood each year when the city hosts its Lakewood Lights event. The event is a community gathering where residents have a chance to see the Lakewood Heritage Center light up in holiday decorations. Green Mountain’s Shadow of the Mountain Choir was on deck to sing holiday tunes and members of Lakewood City Council like Charley Able, Jacob LaBure, Anita Springsteen and David Skilling were there to speak to residents. Children also had the opportunity to visit with Santa inside the Lakewood Heritage Center.
