The Colorado Dragon Boat Festival was met with enthusiasm July 23-24 at Sloan's Lake Park after a two-year absence.
The Dragon Boat races were just part of the fun as eager festival-goers sampled food truck fare while being treated to performances of music and dance.
Several teams raced sleek Dragon Boats across Sloan's Lake for the first time since 2019 after cancellations for toxic algae bloom and COVID-19 as part of the premier celebration of Colorado’s Asian American and Pacific Islander communities.
