Jason Crow, a Colorado Democrat who represents Colorado’s 6th Congressional District, will host an in-person town hall in Centennial on Monday, Aug. 22, Crow’s office announced in a news release.
Community members who wish to attend the town hall and submit questions for Crow can do so by filling out an online RSVP form.
The Centennial town hall will be from 4:30–5:30 p.m. at Koelbel Library, located at 5955 S. Holly St. According to the news release, Crow will be joined by local community leaders.
The town hall comes not long after the passage of a climate change and health care bill, which Democrats have named the Inflation Reduction Act.
“I’m proud to have helped pass the Inflation Reduction Act, to deliver long-term relief by lowering healthcare and prescription drug costs, creating millions of jobs, tackling the climate crisis, and putting our country on the right track by dramatically reducing the deficit,” Crow said in a news release on Aug. 12.
“Better yet, we’re paying for it by closing loopholes and ensuring big corporations and the ultra-wealthy begin paying their fair share in taxes,” he said.
In addition to the Centennial town hall, Crow will also host an in-person town hall in Aurora on Tuesday, Aug. 23, from 5–6 p.m. at Aurora City Council Chambers, located at 15151 E. Alameda Parkway.
Those who have questions regarding these events can call Crow’s Aurora office at (720) 748-7514. To find more information, visit: crow.house.gov/news/events.
